  This place has awesome food but the new owner here always seems like he is in a bad mood. He always stares and makes me and people of my family also feel uncomfortable. The food is wonderful but other than him being that way, this would probably be my favorite place to eat in a hurry.

  We stopped here for breakfast one Sunday morning. We were the only ones in the place other than a lady sitting on a barstool that seemed to be familiar with all the staff. We brought our 14 month old daughter as parents do. She was loud and playful the entire time we were there. We did our best to entertain her and keep her managed.
  
  When the food came the owner got a little irritated that we were placing pieces of pancake on the table in front of her. He offered a plate, but I told him that she would likely throw it, but we would take a box or something of that nature as I did understand his concerns for the tablecloth adorning the table (though pancakes WITHOUT syrup would do little damage). He brought us a small paper bowl to put her food in and we obliged and went on eating, little one got quiet as she ate and things were fine. The breakfast was delicious and all was well.
  
  When my daughter was finished eating, she began to get fussy and I knew it was time to leave. I told my husband that I would take her to the car and he could finish up and pay for our meal. I stood up and began to gather our things as quickly as I could. Apparently at this time the owner took it upon himself to make the comment, "Give that baby something to shut her up!" I missed the comment as my focus was clearly on getting my things so we could leave. I took her to the car and my husband paid for our breakfast. He did not tell me until we got home why he would not be going back to BackHome to eat. He didn't tell me because he knew the sort of emotions such a hateful comment would invoke.
  
  I have worked in the restaurant industry for 10+ years and would have never thought to make such a rude comment to a paying customer. Someone that keeps MY belly full by continuing to come to the business at which I work. Take a lesson here BackHome, my family will never be back and I hope others with similar family situations see this review and relate and stay away as well. I know that my daughter's behavior was less than ideal, as a parent I am embarrassed by that. But I also know that a one year old is a one year old and I did the best I could and removed her from the restaurant as soon as I could. Hopefully you realize this is NOT acceptable behavior from your establishment and work on it in the future. No amount of good food justifies this action.
